(1885-1912)
Aged 27 years. Born in Southampton and served his apprenticeship with the Isle of Wight Steam Packet Company. Sailed for two years with the Union Castle Line before joining White Star in April 1910 being appointed to the Teutonic. Later transferred to the Olympic and then the Titanic. Held a second class engineer`s certificate and left a widow.

Aged 32 years. Born in Glasgow but moved to West Ham, Essex where he spent his school; days. Served his apprenticeship with the Glengall Ironworks, Millwall. First went to sea with P&O but joined White Star to serve aboard Majestic and Olympic before being transferred to Titanic. His wife predeceased him in 1911.
